Refund Policy – TAL Conferences

We understand that plans can change. Please review our refund policy below:

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  1. Full Refunds:
    Registrants may request a full refund up to 90 days prior to the start of the conference. An A$30.00 administration fee will be deducted from the refunded amount (less the 1.7% payment processing fee if original payment completed using a debit/credit card). All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to admin@talconferences.com.au.
  2. Partial Refunds:
    Refund requests received 60–89 days prior to the conference will be eligible for a 75% refund, with an A$30.00 administration fee deducted from the refunded amount (less the 1.7% payment processing fee if original payment completed using a debit/credit card). All partial refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to admin@talconferences.com.au.
  3. No Refunds:
    Refund requests made less than 60 days before the conference will not be eligible for a refund.
  4. Debit/Credit Card Payment Processing Fee
    A 1.7% payment processing fee is incurred on all payments completed using a debit/credit card. This fee, which is included in the quoted cost, is collected by the payment service provider (Stripe) and is non-refundable.
  5. Substitutions:
    If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost. Please notify us at least 5 days in advance with the name and contact information of the substitute attendee.
  6. Cancellation:
  • If you need to cancel your registration, refund eligibility will follow the refund policy outlined above.
  • If the conference organizer cancels the event, all registrants will receive a full refund with no administrative fees deducted. However, if payment was made via credit or debit card, the refund amount will be less the 1.7% payment processing fee incurred at the time of payment. We are not responsible for travel or self-organised lodging costs.
